Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My daughter just about a couple hours ago seemed fussy and finally fell asleep, I noticed she got really warm fast so I undressed her to her pamper and she stayed asleep all until like 25 minutes ago she woke up her girggling to throw up nothing but chunks of milk that smells and looks like rotten cottage cheese. Is it just a stomach bug?
HELLO, i can understand your concern. it appears as a case of intestinal infection in your daughter. i would like to know the weight and the age of your daughter for the dosage of the drugs to be prescribed. i would advise an anti emetic like syrup ondem(contains ondansetron) to be taken thrice daily. sporolac sachets are advised.(granules are to be mixed in water and given) donot stop feeding the baby as it may lead to electrolytic imbalances. if the problem doesnt subside an antibiotic would be prescribed. kindly get back to us for further queries. thanks for choosing HCM
