Suggest Treatment For Vomiting, Mood Swings And General Weakness

Good evening, I m a 39 yr old female. For the past 4months I have been intentionally lossing weight. I have lost 30 pounds and had been walking 4 miles a day. Recently I have been experiencing light headedness, occasional vomiting, weakness and mood swings. This has been going on for three weeks now. I have gone to the E.R. and they told me nothing was wrong. My health continues to get worse. I feel myself wanting to just sleep.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I can suggest you to do a thyroid hormone balance because hyperthyroidism may be causing you to loose weight and feel fatigued.

Also, you can do a total blood count to check for iron deficiency anaemia. In this case, iron supplements are needed.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Olgeta Xhufka , General & Family Physician
