Suggest Treatment For Vomiting, Nausea And Diarrhea

Yes, please. I ve been gassy and bloated for about 3 weeks. I don t have any vomiting, nausea or diaharrea. I don t have a galbladder. I have had the sweats and chills. I peri-menapausal and have had a hysterectomy with only one ovary left. The duadanem seems to swell on occasion. I haven t a fever either. I ve tried an anti-biotic and that has help diminish the sweats and chills. I m still weak though. What can I do to get rid of the indigestion and continual gassiness?

Hello,

I read your message carefully and understood your medical issue

Let me recapitalize your case:
- symptoms: gassy, bloated for 3 weeks now
- personal history: no gallbladder; hysterectomy with only one ovary left
- no fever, just sweats and chills already treated with antibiotics

You report not to have a gallbladder. I believer your doctor has advised to be careful with foods/drinks you consume and the way your get them. If you do not follow such advice and start eating these foods, then, problems with your GI tract will start such as gassy or bloating.

Furthermore, if you eat too fast, or use a straw when drinking, you'll end up swallowing too much air. This will increase the bloating.

Next, you had a hysterectomy. The changes in hormonal levels after hysterectomy will have bad effects on your GI tract with bloating as the main symptom.

What is more, sweat and chills are signs of a possible infection in your body. Further tests are needed to determine WHERE: lungs? urinary tract?
As you have taken antibiotics, they can alter the intestinal flora causing excessive gas and bloating.

Probiotics and anti-fungal therapy is suggested. OTC simethicone can be used to reduce the gas.

Hope this was useful for you.
