Suggest Treatment For Vomiting Up Of Blood Tinged Mucus During Pregnancy

Hi. I m 35 weeks pregnant. My irin has been low and I am just recovering from an upper respiratory infection. I recieved a Tdap vaccination yesterday. Today, my arm feels like a limp noodle, & I have had an incredibly hard time staying awake. At one point I woke up and was coughing up mucus with some blood in it (not a lot of blood). Within 3 hours, I was vomitting large amounts of mucus and had a small gush of fluid between my legs (enough to fill a panty liner). Is this normal or shoud I go to the ER?

Hi,

Tdap injection has known side effect of pain &weakness in the limb for some time a prolonged effect of limp hand needs to be examined (for site of infection) & treated if needful.

Vomitting / nausea is another known side effect of the medicine .You were slept, impending vomit can cause a bout of cough.

Which had a blood tinged mucus (which can be from throat due to strong bout of cough).

This was followed by vomitting &stressful act can cause gush of mucus from vagina.. BUT as you say the discharge was sufficient to soil your under garments.

I am concerned about premature rupture of membranes.This needs to be excluded by your treating gynecologist.Please meet the doctor arliest/go to ER.

You must keep sleeping till you are seen by the doctor.Have bed rest till then..reach hospital on a strature.
please don't worry, hope for excluding the rupture .but we must exclude it.Its better to be over careful than being careless.
