Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello! my 15 year old daughter has 7 warts on the fingers of her right hand. There are tiny black dots on some of them, but they are causing her to be embarrassed to hold her boyfriend s hand. She does write with her right hand. We ve tried over the counter wart medicine, but nothing seems to be helping. I don t know what to do anymore. Please help!
Warts are a viral infection. Usually they don't need and don't have treatment. Mostly they will disappear by their own. I suggest you to do nothing because she is very young and try to calm down her that her boyfriend should accept her as she is.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Jolanda Nikolla, Pulmonologist
