I have hundreds of tiny wart like bumps all over the top of both of my feet and they look like the may be moving up my legs. That are flat tiny and HUNDREDS OF LITTLE WARTS. That don t hurt or itch and came on very fast. I hope you can tell e if there is anything I can put on them to stop them from spreading any further. I m going to a wedding in a week. Also are the contagious? I hope you can help me. Thank You
Wart is a contagious infection caused by Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) infection. Plantar warts are usually self-limiting usually smaller warts resolve spontaneously, but treatment is given to reduce pain, decrease duration, and reduce transmission as it is contagious and spread by direct and indirect contact. Advise 1. Apply salicylic acid 6% locally twice daily 2. Cover them with adhesive bandage while swimming 3. Wear flip-flops when using communal bathroom 4. Do not share your wardrobe and towel with anyone 5. Take high protein diet like egg, milk & cheese to enhance immunity Surgery is used to treat resistant wart. Good luck!!
