Suggest Treatment For Watery Stools In A Toddler
Hello iam in a remote location and unable to visit Dr. now. My 2.5 year baby from last 4 hours she has 4 times watery stools, yellow in color. As there is movement f gas in her stomach along with gas watery stool comes. I consulted to the pharmacy and they have given FLAGYL 125mg/5ml suspension and a pre-biotic sachet, i will be only able to visit dr after 16 hrs from now, please do let me know is the medicine Ok for a while

From your description, I am of the opinion that yes, you have got the right treatment available. Flagyl is metronidazole suspension and prebiotics are for git infections. You can add Mefenamic acid suspension if he is having much pain.
