Suggest Treatment For Weakness And Tingling Sensation In Hands

My teenage daughter says that she sometimes experiences a feeling of tingling and wetness on the outside edge of her hands. Usually the right, but sometimes the left. It is on the surface of the hand not involving the fingers that would touch down first if you were to do a karate chop, and also slightly onto the back of the hand in the same area.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi
Thanks for posting on HCM
The treatment of her condition will depend on the underlying cause.Possible causes may include:
-Peripheral neuropathy
-Diabetic neuropathy
-Ionic imbalances
-Neurologic disorders like MS
-Vitamin deficiency
-And others
I will suggest she sees the Doctor for examination and investigation.Tests that may help identify the cause of her problem may include:full blood count, ESR, serum electrolytes, fasting blood sugar, vitamin level. In the meantime, i will suggest the following:
*Eat well and healthy with enough green vegetables
*Take enough water
*Remain active
*Regular massage of the affected areas
Hope this will help
Best regards
