General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Weight gain and swollen body is due to water retention. Perhaps due to therapy for typhoid.

Check your liver/kidney function to rule out respective problems.

Weakness is also related to typhoid. Eat healthy. Give time to your body to get back to normal again.
Exercises and breathing fresh air can help.
But first, check the function of your liver and kidneys.

Discuss this further with your caring doctor.
Wish fast recovery.
