Suggest Treatment For Weight Gain And Numbness In Fingers
I have been diagnosed with Sjogren s Syndrome, Reynaud s, hypothyroidism, Hydradenitis and panic disorder. I stay tired, have constant PVCs, continue to gain weight despite being on a 1200 calorie a day eating program, get numbness in fingers and toes, cannot sleep, have chronic constipation, extreme fatigue, neck pain, lower back, hip and left leg pain. I know these have to be connected and cannot get a doctor to help me. I am on Armour Thyroid and they say my thyroid levels are normal. Help!!
The multiple systemic involvement through Sjogren and panic, thyroid issue are in concern with development of auto antibodies via immune response of the body. Though the thyroid level is under control , it is the response of the body to circulating antibodies which provoke such symptoms. You need to consult an expert immunologist for further guidelines with disease modifying agents as monoclonal antibodies or else for the best results possible.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
