Suggest Treatment For Welts On The Left Knee

About a week leading up to my period I get these rashes that look like welts on my left knee and at the back of my thigh underneath my buttocks. It lasts throughout my period but then goes away once my period is finished it goes away. This has been happening ever since I had my first child in 2011

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I think these rashes are possible fungal rash as they appear underneath your buttocks too.
I advise to:
- keep them well clean
- apply clotrimazole cream
- apply aloe vera gel during the day.

If no improvement, further follow up with dermatologist is highly recommended.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
