I have been having shortness and wheezing of my breathe for the last 4 days. I also feel tired and I have pain ache in in my legs and arms, my nose runs a little. When I am talking on the phone all of a sudden It feels like I am trying to catch my breathe and my voice will start getting hoarse. When walking from my car to my office, I have shortness of breathe/wheezing.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Since the symptoms are short term then they are likely due to an acute respiratory tract infection.
These can be viral or bacterial but viral infections are far more common.

Since you are having severe shortness of breath and wheezing along with your infection, it would be best for you to be seen by your doctor for assessment and treatment.
This would include examination of the chest to listen for any sounds that may indicate pneumonia (not present in the vast majority but needs to be ruled out).

Treatment would depend on the findings but may include paracetamol, decongestant and antihistamine, antibiotics (if infection thought to be bacterial)

I hope this helps
