Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..
I have gone through your query and can understand your concern...
As per your complain a white bump on the frenulum of the base of tongue that is
lingual frenulum seems to be a traumatic ulcer caused by
injury with some hard food or burning with some hot food and the
redness and swelling is due to inflammation..
It can also be a
canker sore..
Other cause can be an inflamed minor
salivary gland or obstructed duct of minor salivary gland..
Nothing to worry, in case if there is pain apply a numbing gel containing Lignocaine..
Do warm saline gargles..
Avoid hot, spicy and hard foods.
Sucking ice pops can help..
It will resolve in a week or even less and there is nothing serious..
In case if it does not improve consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards..
