HI, I AM SEXUALLY ACTIVE AND RECENTLY HAVE NOTICED THESE WHITE BUMPS ON MY VAGINA. THEY ARE NOT ON THE INSIDE OF MY VAGINA BUT ONLY ON THE OUTER PARTS. THE BUMPS IF I TOUCH THEM THEY FEEL LIKE THEY ARE AN ISSUE. MY GYNO SAID IR WAS NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT BUT I AM KIND OF ITCHY AND CURIOUS WHAT THESE BUMPS ARE AND IF I SHOULD BE WORRIED
You are having white bumps on the vagina. They are on the outer parts of the vagina but are itchy and cause much discomfort. The most common cause are clogged sweat glands. Clean your private area thoroughly with antibacterial soap. Molluscum Contagiosum is another medical condition that has similar symptoms. It goes away with time but may require removal by cryobiology or freezing if resistant.
Herpes simplex infection presents with raised bumps itching and burning sensation. You should take care of your hygiene. Do not touch, squeeze or pop the bumps. Avoid douching and do not use scented or perfumed lotions. Take bath regularly and wear soft cotton clothes that are loose fitting. You are can apply a thin layer of hydrocortisone ointment on the affected part for relief. You are suggested to get clinically examined by an OBGYN, get STD tests done to stay on the safer side. In case the report are positive you will be treated with antibiotics / antivirals.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
