Suggest Treatment For White Patches On The Tongue

Sir I have been diagnosed with leukoplakia( white pathches on tongue and at the wisdom teeth that is erupting not properly).the doctor said that not to worry and told me that it will go after some time and prescribed me vitamins..but it has been 3months after I got it chekd but no improvement..moreover I don't smoke,drink,and any other bad habits which effect my health.. But I eat alot spicy food..sir plzz help me.is this due to the wisdom teeth that is not properly coming out or due to spicy food? Is this cancerous ?,

Thanks for the query..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

White patches that is present over the tongue and wisdom tooth area
where you used to dip tobacco can be due to causes like Leukoplakia that is also over production of Keratin but there is also disturbance in cells known as cell dysplasia..
It is a Precancerous lesion and needs medical assistance..
I would suggest you to consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and a clinical evaluation and
investigations like Biopsy can be done for diagnosis..
In case of Leukoplakia you can be advised Multivitamins and anti oxidants like Lycopene for atleast 2 to 3 months..
You should also get wisdom tooth extracted...

In case if it does not resolve then surgical removal of patches is advised..
