Suggest Treatment For White Spots And Itching On Skin
Hi there I am a swimming instructor for the past 3 years, the past year I tend to get itchy just where my board shorts go and upper arms where my rash vest ends, it starts off with a round rough patch to a white spot on my skin, I now have about 6 white spots of my body! I use dermaveen shower wash and moisturising cream, also cortisone cream! I also take antihistamine tablets before I head to work! I love my job and would hate to have to give it up, is there anything else I can use? I have been given a referral to see a dermatologist! Thank you Noleen Human
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of white spots and itching on skin which seems to be due to vitiligo, tinea versicolor or pityriasis versicolor and could be due to contact dermatitis.
Need not to worry. I would suggest you to apply topical antifungal cream and take benadryl twice a day. Keep it clean and dry and wear loose clothes. If condition doesn't get well then consult dermatologist for proper examination. Doctor may prescribe antifungal like fluconazole along with corticosteroid ointment .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
