I have white worms that have appeared inside my bottom lip recently. I attempted to pull one out and it pulled back, resisting to come out. They are extremely painful and have these black specks that I dig out of them as well. How can I get rid of this?
As per your query you have worm inside bottom lip . Well this is very rare condition in case of human . This occur when careen like come bug or insect bite human and leave worm there . Gongylonema pulchrum is the only parasite capable of infecting humans. I would suggest you to consult dermatologist for proper checkup . Treatment for infections with G. pulchrum include surgical or manual extraction and dosage of albendazole at least for 20 days . Follow up measures include periodic checks of oral cavity and esophagus to ensure parasite infection has cleared.
