Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..
I have gone through your query and can understand your concern.
As per your complain and presentation of symptoms abony hard lump that is tender to touch near the root of your wisdom tooth can be an unerupted PARAMOLAR that is a supernumerary tooth, it can be a BONY TOROUS.
In case if it is not bony hard and slightly compressible it can be a
dental abscess if the wisdom tooth is decayed or can be a gum abscess that can be due to infection in gums.
Nothing to worry about it as all the conditions are treatable but a correct treatment can be advised only once you consult an Oral Physician and get a clinical evaluation done as well as an IOPAR [x ray] to rule out the exact cause of the lump.
If it is a bony torous it can be removed surgically, a paramolar can be extracted and if it is a dental abscess treatment of the tooth with
Root canal treatment or extraction can be done.
For gum abscess Scaling and curettage and a course of antibiotics and painkillers will relieve..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards..
