My husband has a wound on his ankle that won t heal. We believe he got into some poison sumac recently while hunting. He has been to two doctors and both administered antibiotics but neither could diagnose it. He is going on two weeks on the antibiotics and the wound is not healing. Is there a better medication to treat a large open wound possibly from poison sumac? Thank you.
