Hello,
XYY syndrome is a syndrome (group of signs and symptoms) that affects males.
For some males with this syndrome, signs and symptoms are barely noticeable.
For others, signs and symptoms may include being taller than expected, learning problems in school or low
muscle tone.
Growth hormone deficiency is a condition due to not enough growth hormone (GH)in the body.
Generally, the most noticeable symptom is a short height. So, to answer to your question:
XYY syndrome and growth hormone deficiency are different syndromes that can not coexist.
If the signs and symptoms are not/barely noticable, The caryotype, GH test, IGF1 test and an MRI of the brain to look at the
hypothalamus and
pituitary gland are necessary to conclude a diagnosis.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
