Suggest Treatment For Yellow Discharge From The Rectum
Some time ago I started having emissions from my rectum, a yellow toxic substance: unable to wash out of underwear except with high amounts of bleach. My doctor said [after examaning me] said it had to do with my constapation problem I was having at the time and prescribed metamusal. each day. It has helped but I still have small emissions and have to watch it. Gene Ferris
From your description, I am of the opinion that It may be some kind of rectal fistula that should be checked by the surgeon. Rectal fistula or fissure can cause staining of underwear with stools. You should take more fibre in your diet to regulate the consistency of stool. Lactulose solution at bedtime should be taken. you should not suffer from constipation so that fistula has a chance to heal by itself.otgerwise surgical repair is required.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Ashish Ranjan, General & Family Physician
