Suggest Treatment For Yellowish Pus Discharge From Wound On Tail Bone Area

At first I thought I sustained a coccyx injury because of my friends poor suspension in his truck, but after a couple days I noticed the pain only increasing. I decided to take a look to see if their was bruising and I noticed a solid white bump between the crack of my buttocks near the tail bone. Today it felt wet so whend I cleaned myself I noticed on the toilet paper a yellowish white puss whit a horrible stench. What can this be?

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it seems that pain in tailbone along with a solid white lump between the buttcrack near the tailbone which on cleaning released yellowish white pus seems to be most probably due to formation of Pilonidal Pilonidal Abscess..

It can occur due to causes like traumatic injury to tailbone area, ingrown hairs, infection in the area etc..
In your case it seems to be due to traumatic injury to the tailbone area..

I would suggest you to consult a Proctologist or a General Surgeon and get evaluated and a clinical examination is generally sufficient and if required x ray can also be advised..
In case of Pilonidal abscess you can be advised a course of antibiotics, anti inflammatory painkiller like Ibuprofen and cool compresses over the area..
You can also be advised Incision and Drainage in case of abscess for faster resolution..
