Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I was experiencing urine hesitation in early september 2014 and was suspected for CED due to disc herniation. MRI revealed that I do not have CED. On September 8th I was unable to pass urine and it continued till I was prescribed medicine by my urologist and the urine flows normally after 5 days. He thinks i have prostate inflammation. He and my Neuro surgeon sat together and went through my MRI and put me on ciprofloxacin. I started feeling 100% better after 7 days. I continued the medication. I went for a vacation in October 2014 and started having the same issue from October. There is a local urologist did cystoscope to identify the problem and came up with same result. However his medicine did not solve the urine hesitancy problem as he changed the antibiotics. Then I came back to my home country and went to my urologist again and he put me on ciprofloxacin again along with alfuzion Alfuzosin HCL BP which eased the urine issue with in a weak but not the pain in the testicles and discomfort in the penis that i discovered after I had my cystoscope done. For the pain he prescribed ibuprofen. He thinks the pain is coming out of inflamed prostate. But I have a feeling there is a relation between my pain and the cystoscope procedure. I never had this pain. I only developed it after this procedure. I am taking physio therapy for pelvic floor relaxation, and under therapy of a Psychologist. Nothing seems working. This pain is killing me and need a fix for it. I have been fighting with this pain for last three months. Why I am having serious discomfort on my penis and moderate pain on my testicles? The pain comes randomly. I started having this pain after my cystoscope. What is the fix?
