Suggest Treatment Options For Arthritis And Spinal Stenosis In Elderly Woman

Female, 71 years old, 100 lb. overweight. Diagnosed with arthritis, spinal stinosis, problems with vertebra above and below a fusion, sway back. Unable to exercise because of pain. Tried injections with no improvement. Constant pain and depression. I m giving up. Is there help?

There are pain medications that may be able to help you. Some antidepressants are also effective as pain relievers in persons with chronic pain , so this can be considered.

Eg duloxetine, venlafaxine

You may want to consider speaking to your doctor about this option.
