Suggest Treatment Or High BP And Heat Rate

Sir my bp is showing upper one 170 and lower one 100 and my heart bit rate more than 100. I am ATC and I have to go for medical chekup in every 2years. During this routine checkup doctor has found this reading. Cholestrol and sugar level is normal.doctor has advised me to consult any cardiologist. I am local of Belgaum, Karnataka.

Hello,

These blood pressure values are really high and they could be indicative of arterial hypertension. Another possible cause would be the anxiety when consulting with the doctor. For this reason, I recommend you to buy a blood pressure monitor and check your blood pressure frequently in the next days.

If your blood pressure values are above the normal ranges (125/85mm Hg) during rest, you may need to start anti-hypertensive therapy. It is also necessary performing some blood lab tests to investigate on secondary causes underlying high blood pressure.
