Suggest Treatment To Conceive When Diagnosed With PCOS
I have been diagnosed with PCOS and am trying to conceive. Last month I took 10 days of Provera and am on metformin. Shortly after my last provera pill I got my period. I am due for a period today and am not pregnant. How long do I wait before taking Provera again. Last time I was on these meds I conceive my son and was told to take the provera after 40 days of no period and if not pregnant. This time I think she said 35 days. How long should I wait?
Hello dear Understand your concern You can take povera in next 2-3 days to induce the period in PCOS. You have to use regularly to regularize the period. Once your period and ovulation become regular, chance of conceiving will be more. You can also try spironolactone and clomiphene citrate. If medical treatment will not help, then In vitro fertilization should be advisable. Do regular exercise and loose 8-10 % weight. Take healthy diet, fresh fruits and avoid excessive sweet. Hope this may help you
