Suggest Treatment To Control Self Harming Tendency In A Person
Hi my name is Rhianna last year I was diagnosed with Autism and have got a very lets say coulorful and hurtful past as a result of emotional abuse from my dad and previous boyfriends. This is something I have struggled to come to terms with and although I am starting out on the path to receiving the correct help I need what I really struggle with is when I am caught up in the moment and start self harming. Unfortunatly I have not been taught the skills or tools to deal with this yet and I am trying to juggle normal life do youbhave any suggestions?
I have seen people getting out of autism and having a happy healthy life. There are integrating therapies [communication, auditory, sensory and physical exercise]. As you might have undergoing pharmacological therapy, continue with it. Join 'Art of Living' OMBW and then sahaj course. It will get you out of all past negative, hurtful memories and bring mindfulness in the present moment.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Sunny Madar, General & Family Physician
