hi. I am 42yrs old and weigh 50kg. Hvae been diagnosed with an endometriotic cyst measuring 4cm. had the cyst 4 months ago at which time it was measuring 4.7cm. My Gynaec started me on Tab. danazol three times a day then, which I have continued till now. Even though the size of the cyst has reduced my Gynaec tells me it is not significant and now less likely to reduce in size. He says that there are chances that the cyst can become cancerous now so I should go for a hysterectomy. What do you suggest? Is it possible that the cyst can go shrink and go away or do I have to go in for surgery? I have had 3 similar cysts earlier in the last 3yrs of the same size, for which I had not taken any treatment and they has gone away. Please advise. Thank you
