Suggest Treatment To Dissolve Stitches In Labia Majora Post Surgery

I had labia majora reduction 6 weeks ago and went back 3 days ago to follow up with doc. My dissolvable stiches have not dissolved at all. It s like a cord all the way from top to bottom on both sides. Lips are still swollen but completely healed and no infection. She said to massage the stiches and take epsom salt baths to make them dissolve. I have found nothing on the internet that supports this notion. She said she is not able to remove them and that this will make them dissolve. I ve been doing this for 4 days and nothing. Can anyone help???

Hi, I think you should go for removal of the stitches. If stitches are causing pain and swelling, it needs to be removed.
