Suggest Treatment To Get Rid Of Acne Scars

Hi Doctor, I have been suffering from adult acne and my skin conditions change with the change of location(Kolkata-Jaipur-Noida).Offlate there have been too much of acne and the scars left behind refuse to go.Also i have these skin coloued bumps and white heads mostly on my chin and far end of the cheeks.I have been using the following for the past 2 months - AHA Glow face wash in the morning followed by Kaya Sunscreen SPF 15 At night Kaya soothing face wash gel followed by sebonac gel on acne and kojivit on acne scars If skin feels dry,a slather a bit of Aloevera gel(aloe veda) over it Please advise how tpo get rid of my acne scars and control my acne.

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have acne scars on face which is because skin has increased sensitivity of getting pigmented and it leads to post inflammation hyper-pigmentation. It could be due to clogged pores of sebaceous gland filled with sebum ,dead skin and bacteria get infected. You should apply Meladerm cream and it is purely safe to use as this is combination of hydroquinone + Tretinoin + steroid and apply it at night time. Avoid greasy creams ,use water based products. I would suggest you to wash your face daily with cold water and face wash containing salycylic acid twice a day and apply cream containing azelac acid which is good for acne as well as marks. Drink plenty of water. If condition doesn't get well in a week then consult dermatologist for proper examination and treatment . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics like minocyclin, steroid ointment and may recommend chemical peeling for marks.
