Hello,

You are trying to conceive since 6 months but are not getting successful. You are a mother of a 6 year old. Sometimes, conception may take time; you are suggested to stop being anxious and just relax. Stay with your partner (have penetrative sexual intercourse) on regular basis, be patient to conceive naturally.

Staying stress free and staying away from pollution or polluted environment will help to conceive faster. Take home made food, avoid processed or packaged food. If obese, do regular walking to maintain heathy weight. You are suggested to get your partners Seminal analysis done to confirm that the report shows normal result. If not, he will be treated with supplements and medicines.

Stay away from alcohol, smoking or addictions if any, this applies for both the partners. You can get a clinical examination by your obstetrician / gynecologist done. Get all the infertility tests (blood tests, hormone tests, investigations, imaging tests) done to detect any pathology that is preventing you from conceiving. You will be accordingly treated.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Hi,
I feel having sex 4 times in 24 hours on estimated ovulation day, must be exhaustive and a tension creating task. You need to be in happy, enjoying and in a tension free mood for conception (as that affects the hormonal status of your body which again affects rate of conception). The ovulation sticks in drug stores indicate Hormone for ovulation being produced.

Usually in a regular ovulating cycle, ovulation is 14 days before next menstrual date. You should use the stick with help of this information. The sperms can survive for about 2 days after entering genital tract and ovum is viable for about 36 hours after ovulation.

Use this information and have sex in relaxed mode once a day for2 days before ovulation and once on the day of ovulation and one day after the ovulation. A tension free and composed psychology at sex would help you in few months, provided the sexual act and semen analysis is normal.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
