One and a half year old baby must be eating nutritious diet as follows:
1) All kinds of cereals and millets as sources of carbohydrates
2) All pulses for proteins
3) Milk daily 2 glasses
4) Daily an egg
5) Meat weekly twice
6) Nuts or dried fruits for
vitamins and minerals
7) All kinds of vegetables and leafy greens
8) All kinds of fruits, at least 3 servings of fruits per day is necessary
9) Nuts can be powdered and the powder used in various dishes like dals and curries to make it more palatable
10) Make the food attractive and tasty by adding honey or any other add ons to make your kid eat
11) Only with nutritious diet, your kid can improve her height and weight
12) You can use appetizers like Aptivate syrup daily once 5ml for one month
13) Kid must get physically exhausted to make her hungry such that she will eat food
Even after trying the above suggestions for 1 month, your kid, doesn't gain weight, you may need to
consult a pediatrician for further evaluation.
