It is important to search for underlying cause of elevated SGPT and SGOT. Only taking udiliv/ursocol causes short term decline in SGPT.
Elevated SGPT and SGOT may indicate liver injury. It may be due to many reasons like hepatitis, alcohol intake, altered lipid profile, medicines, auto immune causes etc. You may need few more investigations like routine hemogram, random blood sugar, lipid profile, viral markers, urine RE/ME,ultrasound of abdomen. You are rightly taking udiliv(ursodeoxycholic acid tablet). It helps in regeneration of liver cells. You may need to take few more medicines after complete investigations.
