Hallow Dear,
Your high LTH is suggesting that you may be having
Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS). Exact values of your FSH and LH would have been more reflecting.
Please submit yourself to ovulation monitoring by
ultrasonography. If you are ovulating normally, there is no issue of concern, however, if you are not ovulating, it strengthens the suspicion of PCOS.
If you are ovulating normally, please try to utilise the days of ovulation and period around it for sexual relations.
Have you got your ultrasonography done? It can visually show the evidences of PCOS. PCOS is characterised be irregular delayed menses with heavy bleeding during menses, hairiness at the unwanted places like face, chest, etc., obesity, etc..
PCOS is a complex condition wherein there is dysfunction of ovulation and
menstruation, high insulin levels and high androgen levels. The menstrual irregularities can be handled by regular use of
oral contraceptive pills. However, the condition needs comprehensive management for fertility success.
Please check your BMI. There are many online BMI calculators available which can help you to calculate BMI. You should maintain your BMI under 24.9 by high protein and low fat and low
carbohydrate diet.
Myo Inocitol is a medicine which can control high insulin, high androgen and effect egg release also. However, it should be taken by Gynaecologist's advice only.
Please report to your Infertility Consultant for the effective management of PCOS, if you have it.
Also get the anatomical normalcy and patency of your reproductory organs done by
hysterosalpingography and/or Laparoscopy.
Your husband's
low sperm count is a concern. He is undergoing treatment of Fertisure; let us see whether it improves the sperm quality and quantity. If it does not, you may opt for intrauterine semen instillation. If that also fails, you may have to opt for Artificial Reproductory Technique.
I hope this information will guide you for the initial steps. Then you may ask me direct question with the reports of all the investigations for any further guidance if needed.
