Welcome to HCM,
Your question sounds familiar. If you are at the point where you feel you have tried everything there are good medications and some new ones on the market to give you a boost!
I will go over a few so when the doctor asks you if you prefer one or the other you will have information on them.
Contrave is out to treat appetite only and will not stimulate you, lower lipids or act as an antidepressant. It works on your appetite hormones primarily. Some literature claims that it boosts
metabolism.
AdipexP is very popular, but it is a stimulant and the doctor may not give it to you if you have heart or blood pressure problems. Also called Suprenza
Orlistat, not advised due to personal experience with my patients losing bowel control. Also called
Xenical. Affects fat absorption and may cause A,D,E,K deficiencies along with the above mentioned embarrassing side-effect.
Qsymia - now, if no contraindications, I see this as a short term success story for you. It contains
topamax, technically used for seizure control but has a long history of success with
weight loss as a side-effect for its original use. So, we combined topamax with
phentermine (active ingredient in Adipex-P) and the history with my patients is mostly very positive. It is addictive, so please take care.
I also want to mention, if you want to lose weight by yoga, yoga alone will not generally work. Yoga is for toning, relaxation, circulation but does not rev up your cardio or count as strength training. So if you are not putting in the work of 200-250 minutes of a weight loss program it will be difficult for you to lose that weight.

Increasing the fiber in diet will also help decrease appetite, but only soluble fiber from oats, fresh fruit, lentils.
