Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
On June 14 and 15 I had protected sex with my boyfriend. On the 15th he noticed a small tear near the base of the condom; we changed condoms after this. He didn t finish inside of me but he has orgasmed a few times earlier and I m afraid there may have been sperm left over. We were both virgins so maybe because I recently became sexually active it messed with my cycle? I ve also been stressed because of the condom thing. I haven t taken any tests. I had a one day period about a week ago. It looked like my normal period but only lasted a day and didn t come back. I still have PMS symptoms. I asked my mom about my period but didn t tell her I m sexually active and she said it was just an irregular period. What s happening?
* As per my clinical experience, tearing of condom suggests high chances of spillage of sperms inside the vagina as pre-ejaculatory fluid also contains thousands of sperms.
* Rather than being in dilemma, kindly take a urine pregnancy test at home and revert back with results.
Do feel free to discuss further regarding any medical assistance.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
