Suggest Treatment To Remove Scars On Neck Caused After Application Of Toothpaste
Hi, I had hickies all over my neck and whenever this happens I always put toothpaste on my neck but this time my neck looked like i got beat so almost my whole neck was covered in toothpaste. Well I left it there for about 4 hours or so and when i went and took it off i had two huge line/rectangle burns on my neck. How long will this take to feel and what should I put on it so it can heal. I have a modeling and acting interview and they cant see me like this. Thank you

As per my clinical experience, the burns after application of tooth paste are in concern with chemical reaction caused by the content of tooth paste harming the skin layer of dermis and epidermis of the neck. An ideal management requires a thorough clinical examination with your doc, but till that time you can
- Apply ice over the part 5 minutes each at an interval of 3-4 hours
- Avoid further application of tooth paste
- Local application of aloe vera gel or freshly made paste
- Plenty of liquids to maintain hydration status
- Analgesic as ibuprofen or diclofenac to be consumed after meals for burning relief
