Suggest Treatment To Remove Small Bump On Outer Labia
There is a small bump on my outer labia that is slightly irritated. It has happened once before and went away after about a week of putting a hot compress on it. This time it is in a slightly different spot that rubs against my underwear more so it is much more bothersome. Is there any faster way of healing it?
Bumps in labia could be due to many conditions. It results simply from your hair removal technique to minor infectious conditions like sebaceous cyst or Fordyce spots, Bartholin's cyst, genital herpes or warts. I advice you to: - Use body wash like benzoyl peroxide 5% prior to your hair removal techniques - A course of Antibiotics (tab. Amoxiclav 625mg) if needed - Daily Sitz bath - Analgesics (Ibuprofen) to get relieved of pain - Avoid using tampons as it may worsen your symptoms - Wear cotton inner wear - Maintain good hygiene
