Suggest Treatments For Infertility Due To Abnormal Ovulation And Hormone Imbalance
Hello Doctor,
My wife is facing with infertility problems and the ovulation does not occur normally. She is required to take 3-4 FSH 150mg injections during the said fertile days as the follicles do not grow on their own. She has also been diagnosed with Thyroid problemes and I feel, hormone imbalance in her body is resulting in her infertility. Can you provide an opinion I can help her recover these problems.

Hello,
If your wife has been diagnosed with thyroid insufficiency, please see that this gets corrected immediately. This in itself can sometimes correct ovulation problems. Apart from this, if she is in need of regular follicle stimulation, the status of other related hormones like FSH, LH, serum DHEAS levels, serum Prolactin, estrogen and progesterone should be studied and corrections made wherever necessary. Regular exercise, healthy weight and healthy diet are also needed.Hope this helps.
