Suggest Treatments For Low Bilirubin And SGPT Levels

Hi doctor , 3 months before i was diagnosed as heptatis A. Then i took treatment and my bilirubin reached 0.6 from 12 and sgpt reached 37 from 1200. 2 days before i went for blood check then i found sgpt rises to 63 and bilirubin same as earlies. What does this indicate dr should i take treatment again. I dont follow any food restrictions now, should i restrict my diet.

Hi,

You have recovered well from hepatitis A. According to your reports, mild fluctuation in sgpt level can occur in such condition. But still as your sgpt raised to 63 it is better for few days not to eat much fatty foods. Avoid alcohol drinking if having habit Refined food, cheese, non veg fried, Trans fat foods should be restricted.

Eat more fruits. There is no need to start any medication. Gradually sgpt level will be settled to within normal limit. Consult physician for examination with keeping all this in mind.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Parth Goswami
