Hi, I ve recently been diagnosed by a GP and standard pathology testing that I have a condition called Pyroluira - elevated Hydroxyhemopyrrolin-2-one (HPL) in the urine. Everything I have read online about this condition is in the alternative med field, there seems to be no science behind it at all apart from a few studies done in the 70 s that have since been debunked - and it sounds like an alarming condition to have. But there is a lot of information on it in the integrative medicine area - Is this a real condition?? Now spending $$$ on supplements and feeling worse than ever.
