Hi,Welcome to Health care magic forum. What ever the fever is he should be given medicine for relief of the symptoms, before the results of the tests come. Paracetamol should be given when ever there is fever,it can be given every 5 hours if necesory. If there is vomiting sensation or burning in the stomach ranitidine and domperidone can be given. If there is cough and cold, phenylephrine, citrizine, can be given. Give him easily digestible food, milk, juices, and suffecient water. Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
