Usually the date of birth is calculated by the first day of last menstrual period. In this case when you can't remember or can't find the first day of menstrual cycle you can do an ultrasound to check the measurements of the fetus. Also doing a BHcg blood test to check it's levels can help you to determine the age of pregnancy, this and an ultrasound can predict the birth date.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Wishing you all the best.
Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
