Suggest Ways To Conceive When Diagnosed With Thyroid Problems
HI, MY NAME IS PAMMI. I AM 33. I ALSO HAVING A THYROID PROFILE SINCE LAST 4 YEARS. I HAVE DONE ALMOST EVERY THING. BUT FAILED, I WENT TO IVF SPECIALIST AND THEY TOLD ME YOUR AMH LEVEL IS LOW AS .27 AND OFF COS NOT ELIGIBLE FOR IVF. DOCTOR SUGGEST ME DONOR EGG BUT AS YOU UNDERSTAND I DONT WANT TO GO THIS WAY. I HEARD AND READ MANY THINGS ABOUT DHEA AND SET OF SOME RELATED MEDICINE. PLEASE SUGGEST SOMETHING.
DHEA treatment reduces antral atresia and increases the antral follicular count. As a result, AMH levels was found to increase in some women. Such increase in hormone levels were not seen very low hormone levels. You can try DHEA treatment ,but 100 percent efficacy may not be possible. Donor egg should be considered if treatment is not successful.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Saranya Ramadoss, General & Family Physician
