Suggest Ways To Deal With Allergy To Condom Material
Hi, this is kinda embarrassing in a way but I m a girl, me and my bf have figured out that I may have an allergic reaction either to latex or the certain types of condoms we do use, or something in them. for awhile we stopped all together and then we decided to do it unprotected and my vagina doesn t feel itchy or like it s burning the way it does with the regular red packaged Durex condoms for some reason, I have no discharge after I m just itchy right after and for a day or two. I ve been checked for STDs and AIDS before and so has my boyfriend and we re both clean. Was wondering if a doctor could help us in trying to figure out if it s maybe a certain type of ingredient in the condom. Honestly I went on for two years thinking that s just how it felt after... I had no clue that your supposed to not feel irritated afterwards. I ve also not reacted to a different type of Durex flavoured condom so I m really confused at what the difference could possibly be. We re confused because it is a latex condom but I have to use latex gloves for work and I ve never reacted to them before... Really confused and it s hard to reach out to doctors where I live. Thanks for any advice or help...
It is very common female facing irritation to condom because of the material. You would have two options as solution one you could change the condom brand and try other brand, but commonly latex material is only used for condom.
2nd option you can use is Oral contraceptive pills if you are regularly physically active. If you are ok with trying natural method to avoid pregnancy you can try that as well, basically you have to avoid semen ejaculation inside you but that can be risky and holds chances of pregnancy if you don't get the concept.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
