Suggest Ways To Handle Shortness Of Breath In Elderly Woman

Whenever I get my heart rate up in the slightest like barely running a very short distance or even walking holding my grandson I get shortness of breath my heart feels like its gonna beat out of my chest my face goes red I start sweating. And I feel lightheadness and kinda sick. Along with my chest hurting and I have to sit down.I am a40 year old female

breathlessness with sweating can be due to variety of causes in elderly. it may be due to some lung diseases like copd , ild , or heart diseases .
you need to get yourself evaluated for a cause .
visit a pulmonologist he can evauate tour disease by requesting some basic investigations like chest xray and ecg , spirometry if needed.
he may prescribe you some bronchodilators and antibiotics if needed
