I've been having trouble focusing in school since freshman year. I get distracted to easily by anything, noises, smells, people passing by the classroom, other people talking across the room, sometimes by nothing at all and I end up zoning out etc. My grades have been in a terrible spot for three years. About a month ago my friend suggest that I try taking vyvanse to see if it would help me stay focused and I was looking at my grades 2 days ago and they have increased a great amount. I am no longer failing any of my classes. I've also noticed that my small habits I have such as scratching the skin on the side of my nails, biting my cheeks, biting my nails, procrasting on even the smallest of tasks etc. have minimized a great deal as well. I would like to know if my doctor could prescribe it to me so that I can continue on my path to getting better.
