Suggest Ways To Increase The WBC Count

I have a low white blood cell count, how can I get it higher. I am a healthy 55 year old but have always struggled with low energy. Last year my count was 4.2 and now it is 3.3, which I understand is below what is considered to be below the norm, using a scale of 11.0-3.8 as the low. Can my medications be causing this or nutrition? Is this something I should be worried about? I am 5 5 and weigh 126 pounds.

Welcome at HCM..
I have gone through your and being your physcian i completely understand your health concerns.
are u suffering from HBV or HCV? have u done ur HIV testing? are u using any medications? are u diabetic ? do u have got enteric fever? do u have a consistent fever? do u have got bone pains? any enlarged lymph nodes? any enlarged spleen oon utrasound?
based upon you history, i think u need to be investigated if your blood counts are continuously dropping. In my opinion u should meet HEAMTOLOGIST so that u can be investigated properly. some times WBCs count drops in infection like ENTERIC FEVER. but agian u need to be examined by an expert like HEMATOLOGIST.
AS far as treatment is concerned , in my opinion it should be tailored according to the cause . first the cause has to be looked for then treatment need to to be tailored according to that . your HEMATOLOGIST will need to get PERIPHERAL SMEAR along with the BONE MARROW ASPIRATION to rule out any heamtological problems.
meanwhile stay calm and continue with your routine chores.
Hope your query is adequately addressed if you still have any feel free to ask
Regards
