Suggest Ways To Lose Weight While Having Hypothyroid

hi this is nura .iam 36 years old female.i am hypothyriod patient.iam using( restrozeal soft capsuleof resveratrol with CLA)for weight loss.before 7 month.but it is not working to lose my weight i hope so.my height is 5.1 and 80kg.also using thyronorm 100mg from 10 years.so please may i know which food avoid or which is good for me and ofcourse how can i lose my weight.thank you.

Read your query. That is a very significant question and i appreciate your problem. I will try my best to answer your query

You have not mentioned TSH values, to give me an idea how much your thyroid values are with thyronorm 100 micrograms which you are taking.

If your TSH values are not controlled, then dose of thyronorm needs to be modified according to report which will help you to reduce weight if it is because of hypothyroidism.

But if your TSH values are well controlled, there your over weight, should not be because of hypothyroid, in that case you need to reduce weight by lifestyle changes include some exercise in your daily routine and follow diet instructions.

Regarding diet kindly follow some points
1. Avoid all kinds of refined carbohydrates like sugar
2. Take all kind of fresh veggies kindly restrict use of potato and sweet potato.
3. instead of white bread go for brown bread or multi grain bread.
4. alcohol can be taken in a moderate quantity,Try avoiding wine and beer.
5. avoid all kinds of carbonated drinks they are not good for your bone health.
6. low fat milk can be consumed about 200ml per day
7.low fat cheese and low fat yogurt can be taken.
8. daily you can take a small cup of almonds,walnuts,pista and penuts which are good for your goodcholesterol.
9. daily take only one fruit,avoid banana and XXXXXXX ...if you like take only minimal quantity
10. you can take protein like fish,meat,chicken 200 grams twice weekly
11. alternate days you can take 2 egg white...pls discard yolk(yellow) since it contains bad cholesterol
12. use olive and sunflower oil for cooking.
13. prefer grill than oil fry.
14. occasionally you can take ice creams and dark chocolate
15. take good amount of green leaf veggies to avoid constipation
