Hello. Weight gain with insulin is a common problem. I am sure you must be regularly following all the lifestyle modification - diet and exercises as advised by your doctor. What we can do is make a small change in your medications for Diabetes - add metformin if you are not on it and if there are no contraindications, and also change some of the insulin dose to a GLP 1 agonist like Exenatide or Liraglutide. Hope this helps.
